Is your class suitable for beginners?
Yes, there are no requirements, except be aware that the class will be mainly standing. If you have trouble standing for long periods, then feel free to give it a try and take breaks as and when you require.
What does a class consist of?
You can expect some gentle stretching, loosening of the joints. Some breathing exercises, some slow movements and some 'Forms' these are sequences of slow movements usually with specific health benefits.
When can I start?
Feel free to come along any Tuesday morning
What Should I wear?
Wear loose comfortable clothing. Qi Gong can be performed wearing training shoes or bare foot. Bare foot can help with balance and the feeling of where your weight is focussed etc, but in the colder months can be a bit chilly.
